Prof. Dr. Prabhakar Krishnan completed his undergraduate training at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and his postgraduate training in Orthodontics at Yenepoya Dental College, Mangalore.

He is an astute clinician and a dedicated academician, with over 14 years of experience in orthodontic practice and teaching. He has been actively involved in guiding postgraduate MDS Orthodontic students for the past several years.

Currently, he serves as Professor and Head, Department of Orthodontics at Sri Ramakrishna Dental College & Hospital.  Alongside his academic role, he is engaged in private practice with a clinical focus on braces and clear aligner therapy, and also serves as a visiting consultant orthodontist to multiple clinics.

In addition to braces and aligner therapy his clinical interests include the management of complex malocclusions and the orthodontic care of children with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other craniofacial anomalies.
